Sandra’s Thoughts
June 10, 2009

I want everyone to know that regardless of Katherine Quinn’s release on bail, that this in no way absolves Katherine Quinn of her part in the murder of my son. I believe that we, the crown will have enough evidence to be able to see that she is convicted of Matthew’s murder again in the fall/spring of 2010.
I am disheartened by what transpired today, but am resolved to continuing my pursuit of justice for my beloved son Matthew. I can only pray that our government will take notice of the abysmal way in which we are treated, and that they will review the bail reform act to reflect the continuous release of convicted murderers into our communities.”
I will never stop fighting, nor will I be silenced. Matthew needs me more than ever, and I will be his voice, and the voice for the others who have lost their lives in a similar manner.

Today I received news from my publisher Anjali that my book is on it’s way to print. The realization of this has just struck me, and has left me in awe. It’s not often that I am rendered speechless, but to see this all come to fruition is incredibly exciting, and a little scary. I am so grateful to have found Aaspiration Publishing and Anjali. To have someone believe in you, and tell you that they feel this book will become a bestseller is humbling.
They have sent the book to a typesetter as the cover is to be designed by an award winning book designer. they will have a few drafts for me to see in a few days. Anjali will be flying to Vancouver for the media launch to be with David and I. We’re really looking forward to meeting her, and can’t wait to see the response we get from the book.
I can’t wait to hear every ones thoughts on the finished product, and hope that you will all help me keep Matthew’s memory alive.

Hello Everyone,
As you are all well aware by now, today has marked a victorious day for the Martins-Toner family. I have been telling everyone that my Birthday wish has come true, and my sons killer, Katherine Quinn will NOT be released on bail pending the Appellate Courts Decision on her appeal.
We are elated by the outcome of today’s hearing, and cannot forget to thank our Crown Prosecutor, Mary Ainslie, Sgt. Mann, Sgt. David Teboul, Sgt. Al Ross, and of course Crown Prosecutor, Wendy Dawson. Without all of these wonderful people fighting for Matthew, and our family, none of this would have been possible. I know that I have exhausted you with my constant phone calls and emails in hopes of helping our case along.
I thank you for understanding my pain, and for showing a level of compassion to a mother seeking justice.
I also need to thank everyone who came to the Court house this morning in support of our family. The support and kindness will never be forgotten. You have stood by us from the moment this tragedy happened, and we are grateful.
A special thank you to our F.A.C.T. members across Canada who have sent us their thoughts and prayers. It will take me a few days to get through the hundreds of emails I have received today.
We can only pray now that the Appellate Court Justices will see how instrumental Katherine Quinn was in the murder of our beautiful son Matthew, and that she will remain in prison where she belongs.
Again, we thank everyone for their support and well wishes!

This murderer is on bail and should not be on facebook. Her facebook pages are just evil. She has no remorse.
